Meet Brioney May Russ
I offer a compassionate, empowering, and restorative flow, allowing you to experiment with postures and advance your practice whilst remaining mindful and connected to the breath.

Born in Cambridge I grew up in Hertfordshire, inspired by my beautiful surroundings I took to art and produce lovely landscape paintings. I attended many yoga classes from early teens and always enjoyed the movement and expression.

Finding myself working in the Civil service, after obtaining my Psychology degree and Global Citizenship certification, I found my expressive and artistic nature was calling out for more and I was using Yoga to calm my mind through difficult times. I decided a way to help others would be to provide that same support for students and ended up qualifying my 200hr training in Bali (Why not!)
Brioney's Yoga Teaching
Comes from an extremely loving and caring, compassionate place, I notice huge change in myself and others when practicing Yoga, and believe it gives us the tools we need to be kind to ourselves and others. Often using the theory and tradition of Yoga, I use this to guide my teaching and create a relaxing, playful environment for my students to practice, have a few giggles, experiment, be open, explore but also find themselves again amongst the madness of today’s society, and remind people we are more than the physical self.

My classes stem from Ashtanga Vinyassa and I am keen to provide a space where students are empowered to know that each body is different and can adapt the posture, pace, rhythm, and breath to find your flow and still the mind. I offer a range of asana to suit everyone whilst being in a safe place for exploration, creativity, and mindfulness.

Qualifications: 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Ashtanga .
